Laura Sharon, LICSW, PMH-C is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor specializing in pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. She provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, infertility, pregnancy loss, and the many emotional transitions that accompany parenthood. Her goal is to help clients find support, healing, and confidence throughout their perinatal journey.

What Our Work Together Might Look Like
Beginning therapy during pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are—whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, disconnected, grieving, or simply not like yourself.
In our sessions, we'll work together to better understand what you're experiencing and identify the challenges that may be impacting your emotional well-being. We'll explore the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that are contributing to your distress while building practical tools to help you cope more effectively.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices to help clients manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, birth trauma, infertility, pregnancy loss, and the many adjustments that come with becoming a parent. Together, we'll focus on strengthening resilience, improving self-compassion, and helping you feel more confident and connected to yourself and your family.
Therapy is not about being a "perfect" parent—it's about having a safe place to process your experiences, find support, and move toward healing and balance. Whether you're navigating a difficult pregnancy, adjusting to life with a new baby, or facing unexpected challenges along your parenting journey, you don't have to do it alone.
